Clean, Sustainable Beauty Products I Love

I have been trying to make the switch to all natural or as close as possible toiletries for a while now and finally took the plunge this year! We put so many harmful products in/on our bodies that can have long term consequences. Our skin is the body's largest organ and everything you put on your skin makes it's way into your circulatory system. So if you want to be a little nicer to the planet and your body, check out some of my favorite cleaner products!

** All of these products are NOT 100% natural, some are but I am just sharing products that I like and that are in the right direction**

First up is Cora Organic cotton tampons because I think this is the MOST important! If switch anything this is it! These tampons are made from organic cotton which is pesticide-free, bleach-free, fragrance-free, toxin-free, and rayon-free! YES, normal tampons have these things in them which is disgusting! AND the harmful toxins actually make you bleed more increasing the length of your period so that you buy more tampons. I have personally seen the effects of switching to organic such as less cramping and shortening the length of my period by like two days! I linked the non-applicator because these minimize waste, but this brand also sells tampons with applicators, pads, and panty liners. This brand also donates proceeds to educate girls and provide menstrual products to girls!

Native Natural Deodorant is the only natural deodorant that has worked for me! I really like the vanilla coconut scent but the herbal musk and citrus is my favorite! It smells like a unisex deodorant and this has been the only natural deodorant to work for me.

The Burt's Bees toothpaste is fluoride free and lacks other ingredients in most toothpastes that are unnecessary. It is also flavored with natural mint essential oil. I am also sharing a bamboo toothbrush with charcoal brushes! The charcoal naturally whitens teeth and bamboo is biodegradable so you can feel a bit better about throwing it away.

This reef safe sunscreen is safe for the ocean and for you! It is vegan and cruelty free and will block harmful UV rays. I also like the kids stick for easy application to my face. Since this is a zinc based sunscreen you will need to do a little extra rubbing to make sure it is not too white.

I have been using the Hempz lotion which is super hydrating and not oily at all! It is vegan and enriched with natural oils.

Ambre Blends is an organic essence that I wear as a "perfume" every day! It molds to your body chemistry and lasts all day. The company is women-owned, and the products are 100% natural and vegan. The bottles are glass, the packaging is recyclable, and they sell refills to reduce waste. I ordered a set of samples and tested them out before choosing a scent to get, but I honestly loved them all. I wear the Unmasque scent which is a very warm scent.

Dr. Bronner's pure Castile soap is great for just about anything; it has 18 uses and all-natural. I use this soap to make my own sugar scrubs and I love it! This brand is also cruelty free and most ingratiates are certified fair trade. This product is biodegradable so it is safe for the environment and it is a concentrate so it will last a long time!
