I am finally getting around to typing up my 2nd trip to Memphis! We had such a great time visiting for the Memphis in May international music festival. Once I heard Khalid was going to be in Tennessee I had to go! Luckily Graham and I have sweet friends with an extra bedroom just outside of Memphis where we got to stay for free! I did put together a little springy gift basket to say thank you and most items were from TJ Maxx or Target!

- Ketel One Botanicals - great summer vodka for cocktails at home

- a mixer for the vodka

- Aloe plant - from target but not on their site

- Ms. Meyers hand soap

- candle

- a funny tea towel from Blue Skies, a local Chattanooga shop with unique finds

- basket to hold everything!

What we ATE

Central BBQ

The Liquor Store

Loflin Yard

Staks Pancakes

Food Trucks @ festival

Must try: Jamaican dry rub wings from Central

queso at Loflin Yard

anything from Staks

What we DID

Wiseacre Brew Tour - SO COOL! Brew tours are one of my favorite things to do when visiting a city, but what I loved about this tour is that I already know and love some of their beers and the history was so neat! They only provide 1 tour on Saturdays at 12:00, and it is $18. You get to keep your glass though!

Favorite beer was the Memphis Sands which I had never tried before.

That's a lot of Tiny Bomb!! (40% of their production!)

Shelby Park - This place is awesome! Its a bit of a drive, but totally worth it. We just rode bikes, but theres trails, buffalo, kayaking, and much more.

Music Festival (duh!) - I got to listen to two of my favorite artists, Khalid & Miley Cyrus, and it was a dream come true! Here are some low quality pics of a high quality time!

What I WORE

I did not go all out in crazy festival wear for a few reasons

1. its not really my style

2. this festival is more low key than like bonnaroo and Coachella

3. I don't have enough money or time to buy all that lol

I wore pretty simple, comfortable outfits that were functional for our looooooong days inside and outside! I love basics and these styles can be mixed around too!

Madewell jeans I wear on repeat

the perfect $8 white tee (I bought two so I'm stocked up)

white platform vans

an amazing $15 amazon hat

$10 super soft, double lined white body suit (with snaps)

amazon purse I have been wearing all spring

Jonesy Wood 1997 necklace I wear everyday

gold hoops I wear all almost every day

Alrighty, thats it! If you liked this post and want me to share more details on any of my trips let me know! If you haven't been to Memphis, check it out! Its a great city!
